Glance client has a custom check that generates exception if location has not been returned by image-get request. This check should on server side and it should be managed by policy rules when do location-add action. That also allows to increase possibility of migrating Heat to v2[1]. NOTE: After this patch, we'll raise a HTTPBadRequest from server side instead of HTTPConflict when a user adds a duplicate location. This is a client library for Glance built on the OpenStack Images API. It provides a Python API (the ``glanceclient`` module) and a command-line tool (``glance``). This library fully supports the v1 Images API, while support for the v2 API is in progress.
Development takes place via the usual OpenStack processes as outlined in the `developer guide <http://docs.openstack.org/infra/manual/developers.html>`_. The master repository is in `Git <https://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/python-glanceclient>`_.
