Release notes are version independent, so remove version/release values. We've found that most projects now require the service package to be installed in order to build release notes, and this is entirely due to the current convention of pulling in the version information. Release notes should not need installation in order to build, so this unnecessary version setting needs to be removed. This is a client library for Glance built on the OpenStack Images API. It provides a Python API (the ``glanceclient`` module) and a command-line tool (``glance``). This library fully supports the v1 Images API, while support for the v2 API is in progress.
Development takes place via the usual OpenStack processes as outlined in the `developer guide <http://docs.openstack.org/infra/manual/developers.html>`_. The master repository is in `Git <https://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/python-glanceclient>`_.
